Barry has held many positions within the YCC including that of Secretary. Barry served as YCC President in 1997, is currently our Chairman and Show Secretary.
An honorary life member, Barry is also Chairman of Canary Council which is affiliated to the National Council for Aviculture, for whom he acts as Publicity Officer, representing birdkeeping views to DEFRA
Our position within the fancy is much heightened by all the work undertaken by Barry, who still finds time to manage his stud of Champion Yorkshire Canaries, exhibit regularly throughout the UK, and undertake judging engagements both Nationally and Internationally.
